How much can I borrow?

Cred offers credit limits between £1,000 and £10,000. The limit we offer you is determined following a creditworthiness and affordability assessment at the time of your application, which includes a credit search carried out by TransUnion.

We will only lend to you an amount we are satisfied is affordable and appropriate based on your individual circumstances. Your credit limit is the maximum amount you can have available at any one time, and it's displayed at the top of the screen in your Cred app and on your monthly statements. We may review your credit limit from time to time based on how you use your account, your payment history and your credit record — we'll always let you know before making any changes.

Your available credit is your credit limit minus what you currently owe. If you'd like us to reduce your credit limit at any time, just ask us.
