What happens if a payment fails or can’t be collected?

If we’re unable to collect your payment on the due date, for example, due to insufficient funds, the payment will fail and your account will be one payment behind. We may attempt to collect the payment again up to twice during the following 7 days, and we’ll always contact you before doing so. During a re-attempt we may collect your minimum contractual payment even if you had opted to pay more. You can also make a manual payment at any time through the Cred app. Interest will continue to be charged on any unpaid amounts.

Missed payments may be reported to the credit reference agencies and can have an impact on your credit score and future ability to borrow money.

If you need any help or feel that you are struggling with payments - our team is here to help, so please don't hesitate to get in touch.
